Parvathi’s art engages with the spaces in which we live. Water continues to inhabit and inform her work, whether as the stuff born in the stars, or as the source of the diversity of life, or as a contested resource, or as botanical imagery that celebrates and reminds us of the power of water. The scales of her work and how she views the world changes from the immediate environment we seek to dominate, to the universe in which we are but a speck.
